Key Functions
Implementing Education laws , policies and regulations ;
Implementing approved education and sports development plans , strategies and council decisions ;
Providing technical and professional advice
Organizing and facilitating teachers training programs
Maintaining an updated teachers personnel data bank.
Qualifications
Should hold an Honors Bachelors Degree in Education from a recognized University or Institution .
Either a masters degree in Education Planning and Management OR Public Administration and Management or other related Management fields from a recognized University .
Experience
At least nine years working experience , three of which should have been in managing of an educational institution or gained from professional experience in a managerial capacity at the level of Principal Education Officer .

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

The Rural Electrification Agency is continuing to implement large scale Rural Electrification programs intended to cover all the regions of Uganda .
Responsibilities
Represent the agency in the management of rural electrification construction works
Monitor progress and quality of construction works
Attend site meetings
Monitor all environmental issues during construction and ensure compliance with safeguard requirements .
Evaluate construction compensation requirements and bring them up for resolution.

Specifications

Job Title: Medical Officer

The MRC/UVRI Uganda Virus Research Unit on AIDS was established following a request in 1988 from the Uganda Government to the British Government for collaboration on the research of HIV infection and AIDS.
Key Roles

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists

The Uganda Episcopal Conference is the legal body of the Catholic Hierarchy in Uganda .
Requirements
Degree in Social Sciences , Statistics , Economics , Public Policy or relevant subject ;
Training in monitoring and evaluation and/or project planning and management .

Responsibilities
Monitoring , evaluation and reporting on partiners projects progress to ensure that the necessary set standards and indicators are met and to provide M&E technical support to all the program partiner organizations
S/he will also work closely with Caritus Uganda Advocacy Specialist on transforming the monitoring data into evidence for advocacy , prepare and conduct special studies when necessary
The M&E specialist will also be responsible for the management of the web-based M&E data base ensuring that quality data is entered and analyzed for advocacy engagements, in addition to harmonizing all partiners reports for the consumption of Caritus Denmark.
