Job Summary: The Customer Care Assistant will receive and channel complaints, queries and requests for information from Customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Professionally answer UCC's toll free calls and enlighten consumers on the procedures of channeling complaints;
Receive and handle relevant consumer complaints, queries and requests for information by phone, e-mail or walk-ins in consultation with the line supervisor;
Follow up on consumer complaints and inquiries;
Identify and escalate priority consumer issues to ensure that both an appropriate and adequate investigation takes place in all cases;
Provide consumers with service information;
Participate in organizing and conducting Consumer Outreach Activities, Road shows and special projects in various parts of the country;
Maintain an updated record of calls and complaints;
Produce call/ Complaint reports;
Provide support in executing other UCC Consumer Affairs functions; and
Assist in maintaining an organized filing system in the Consumer Affairs Unit.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or any related field;
An advanced diploma in Marketing plus experience of 3 years would be commensurate.
At least two (2) years of experience in similar duties;
Should have excellent analytical, report writing and interpersonal skills;
Should be a team player and self driven.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Developing Strategies 20%
Ensuring knowledge of developing technologies is kept up to date and implemented as appropriate.
Determine, develop and implement strategies and tactics to achieve/exceed targets and combat competitive threats.
Make value based recommendations on whether or not to enter new markets, or develop new products and services.
2. Stakeholder Management 35%
Stakeholder management of key personnel within Barclays Bank of Uganda
Stakeholder Manage Barclays Africa  key stakeholders and projects to ensure delivery to agreement obligations and business programmes are delivered to meet business goals in Uganda
Establish and manage relationships with key external stakeholders including Card Schemes, local regulators, other banks, suppliers and local industry bodies.
Obtain mutually acceptable business and strategic solutions to issues raised or escalated within the relationship
3. Effective Management and Development of Staff     20%
Ensure effective and efficient deployment of staff with overall responsibility for motivation, direction, control, training and co-ordination of use.
Ensure Succession Planning is in place and updated to reflect the growth and internal changes that the African Centre has and will go through
4. Governance, Control and Risk 20%
Understand technical/regulatory matters affecting the business. Ultimate responsibility for the continuing compliance and use of such matters
Assimilation of plans both strategic and annual covering the  Credit card business  with responsibility for turning plans into reality
Ensure Governance, Compliance, Risk and Control are implemented and adhered to meet Group Standards by Centre. Staff at all levels to be clear on what is expected of them. Any new regulatory or Group requirements are implemented and reviewed throughout Barclaycard in a timely fashion.

Document management and control.
Receipt, review and filing of Company QC Inspection Reports.
Ensure all Quality Management related records are maintained in good manner and easy to obtained
Organize & Participate contractor QMS audits and workshop QC surveillance; develop quality audit reports; tracking the contractor performance improvement.\
Organize and perform internal QA/QC related trainings to employee and contractors.
 Perform any other duties assigned by superior

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

At least 5 years quality management working experience, OilŸ & Gas background preferred.
Familiarity with Quality Management System and using of Quality Control Tools.

Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis Skills.

Job Summary: The Senior Subsurface Buyer will be responsible for all oil field construction related procurement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and work with the Junior Subsurface Buyer to conduct prequalification, establish an approved bidders list, prepare bid packages; lead bid evaluation, clarification and contract award recommendation; facilitate contract negotiation and execution; administer and maintain all contracts required by CNOOC Uganda Limited in accordance with the established Procurement Policy, EHS policy, contracting strategy and consistent with any other internal policies and procedures.
Ensure that all responsible CNOOC Uganda Limited contracts with qualified contractors and on terms and conditions that best protect the interest of company
Significant amount of time devoted to resolving disputes with Contractors. These disputes occur both on the front end to resolve contract terms and conditions exceptions before a contract can be signed and also at the conclusion of the contract in order to resolve claims and clear the way for final contract settlement and resolution.
Look for assistance from Legal Counsel if necessary to resolve the disputes.
The key is to achieve best results and interests for CNOOC Uganda Limited while maintaining a positive relationship with contractor and promote CNOOC Uganda Limited to be seen as fair and preferred customers.
Assists the Procurement Manager in preparation of Procurement and Contracting
Plan, correspondence, presentations and materials statistical reports
 Facilitate/coordinate meetings with end-users and contractors; Acts as liaison and coordinator between end-users and contractors to address change orders.
Delivers internal training on Procurement Procedure, and provides contract interpretation to end-users as necessary.
Continuously evaluate the performance of Subsurface Procurement.
Recommend process improvement changes, implement approved recommendations, and monitor results and report findings to Strategic Procurement Manager
The job holder will primarily offer overall direction, supervision, mentoring, motivation and on-the-job training to the Junior Subsurface Buyer and prepare them for advancement.
Focus on building a strong team to fulfill all the operation requirements.
Identify training and development requirements and report findings to Procurement Manager, work with Procurement Manager and HR scheduling training opportunities for Junior Subsurface Buyer and himself.
Work as a satellite team member of all departments of internal clients, in order to better understand, and proactively respond to their respective procurement requirements and thereby improve the delivery of ordered equipments and materials.
Promote Procurement group image by providing effective and efficient services and adding values to the integral business process.
Promote the Procurement group to be seen as fair, diligent, and totally professional.
Maintain contracts data base information and issue periodic reports to all internal user groups about the current status of all active contracts.
Reporting system to allow sufficient time for advance planning to ensure continuity of service or otherwise as required
Support the Procurement Manager to achieve the overall department objectives and performance excellence
 Fulfill any other requirements assigned by Procurement Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in planning, management or the related.
At least 10 years related working experience in oil and gas industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of laws, rules, policies and procedures of procurement.
Extensive knowledge of logistics and foreign trade process.
Knowledge of declaration, import and export transportation.
Good understanding of oil E&P Operations.
