Job Summary: The Talent Manager for Umeme will be mainly charged with driving talent management strategies, tools and processes including succession planning, career pipelining, talent assessment, and development planning to meet the current and future business needs.

Key Duties
Partner with key stakeholders including Heads of departments, management and senior leadership to analyze talent needs, and design long term talent solutions.
Design and be custody of the Annual and Multi Year Talent Plans, taking critical interest in the critical talent skills needs for the business.
Act as the project leader for the implementation and continued evolution of talent management functionality in the areas of performance management, succession planning and competency management.
Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to building accountability, measure results and optimize the impact of the strategic talent management function.

The system will have provision of capturing data by CUT OFF DATA approach ( i.e. opening balance), data at regular intervals (i.e. monthly progress) as well as cumulative data for any period (e.g cumulative for a few months)
