 Job Requirements:
Qualifications
•    Education required : Completion  of a  bachelor  of machine  and bachelor of surgery  and  completion  of a master’s  degree in public health  or a master of arts  in nursing , social work , child development , international development , community development , health  policy  and planning , behavioral or social  science  is required
•    Work experience  required ; Senior  years  of  progressively  responsible  professional experience  in program  management  as a district health  officer  or similar  position within  the health  system  of  Uganda  is required .
•    Language  required :  Level  IV/English  ability   is required
•    Knowledge required;  A  thorough knowledge  of health   services delivery , leadership and management  , use  of data  for  decision-making  extension  of health  care services  is required.
Selection  Criteria
•    Management  will  consider  nepotism/conflict  of interest, budget and  visa status in  determining successful candidacy
•    Current  employees  serving  a probationary  period are not  eligible to apply
•    Current  Ordinarly  Resident employees with an  Overall Summary . Rating of needs Improvement or  Unsatisfactory  on their   most recent  Employee Performance  Report  are not eligible to apply .
•    Currently  employed  NORs  hired under  a Personnal Services Agreement are ineligible to apply  for advertised positions  within the first 90 calender  days of their employment  unless currently  hired into  a position  with  a When Actually  Employed  work  schedule.

Qualifications

 Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
•    Accountable  for the  operation  of finance  processes to generate timely  and accurate  financial  information  , reports  , analyses and  recommendations  to facilitate  effective  decision making
•    Provide  capacity  building  as needed  to  partners  in budget  development  , financially  risk assessment  and in  understanding  and  interpreting  management  information  and accounting  standards
•    Develop financial  plans  and monitor  forecasts  in alignment with  organization in the  various  fore as may be  required .
•    Supervise and coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports
Qualifications
•    Degree  in Finance  and or Accounting  or Business  Administration  with  Strong  bias  in Finance  or  Accounting .
•    Qualified  Accountant  and Member  of professional  bodies  like  CPA, ACCA, CIMA  and  other  recognized  and  equivalent  qualifications
•    A minimum  of 8  years experience  serving  in a  similar  position in a  reputable  Organization .
•    Master’s  in Finance  or  accounting  is an added  advantage
•    Ability to  speak  French  and or  Portuguese  is  an added advantage .

•    Receive  ,  screen  and forward  all  incoming  calls  plus  maintaining  a mail  registar for the  organization.
•    Maintain  staff  attendance  registration  records, visitors  registry plus  generating monthly  attendance  reports.


Qualifications
•    A minimum  of a  Diploma  in  Hospitality  , Secretarial and Business Studies  or any  other  relevant  qualifications .
•    Additional training in Administration, Secretarial or Human resource fields will be  of advantage .

Job Title: Project Technical Manager

Malaria Consortium is an international organization working primarily in Africa and Asia on communicate diseases control.
Person Specifications
•             A post graduate degree in public health or other health related medical discipline
•             At least 3 to 5 years experience of working at national level in Uganda or similar developing country setting, of which at least 2 to 3 years is direct work experience in a project management capacity
•             A good experience in qualitative studies especially operational and implementation studies
•             Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Desirable
•             A qualification in project management or equivalent
•             Proven experience in risk management
•             Proficient in project management software such as MS Project
•             Experience working in the private health care sector or other profit oriented business
•             Familiar with current malaria case management practices –severe malaria in particular

Reports

Qualifications

Physical Ability
•             Ability to professionally communicate in writing and verbally or other means deemed appropriate
•             The incumbent should have the ability to travel to and from work in Kayunga and the project’s collaborative sites in Kampala, Mukono and Buvuma districts if necessary.
•             The incumbent will from time to time be required to lift some lab supplies to and from the field office main store to the required destination as he/she may be directed by his /her superiors.
•             The incumbent is also expected be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
