Key Roles
Co-ordinate and explore prospects of bringing new clients on board.
Maintain contacts of key clients and stakeholders.
Develop, design & manage PR interventions/activities to bolster MSC Ltd’s image.
Manage the dissemination of information and respond to media concerns on the company activities.
Participate in the production of communication/marketing materials for purposes of marketing the company to its clients.
Participate in the co-ordination of all MSC Ltd public events.
Organize and coordinate corporate social responsibility programs of the company.
Participate in MSC Ltd stakeholders programs/activities.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications,
The candidate should hold an honours degree in any of the following areas; Mass communication, social sciences or development studies.
A post -graduate qualifications in public relations/Marketing will be an added advantage.

Key Duties
1. Programmatic leadership, strategic guidance, technical oversight and support for project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting:
Develop and periodically review a 3 year project implementation plan,
Lead the planning and implementation of project interventions including development of technical guidance and relevant tools

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Officer provides overall HR support to the ASSIST Project. S/he ensures that the technical teams have accurate and timely HR information necessary to make relevant staffing decisions. S/he supports the project in recruitment and placement, orientation, performance and probationary appraisal of ASSIST staff and supports the creation of a healthy working environment through, open management policies, information sharing and organization of ASSIST staff functions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures appropriate and immediate handling of project staff enquiries and requests for assistance
  • Clarifies to staff issues pertaining to HR in the Employee Handbook in collaboration with the Director Operations.

  • Keeps all project staff information confidential and communicates only what needs to be shared when need arises.
  • Identifies and follows up HR issues that arise during staff and management meetings

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration or a related field
  • An additional post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management and/or training in records management is an added advantage.
  • At least three years' relevant work experience gained through serving in a similar position with an NGO or busy multinational company.


  • Knowledge of Uganda Labour laws, ability to work in a multicultural environment, pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality is a must.

Duty Station:  MSC Head Office, Kampala, Uganda
Reports To: Zonal Manager

The Microfinance Support Centre Limited (MSC) is a linchpin of Government of Uganda
(GOU) micro credit programmes under the Rural Financial Services Strategy. MSC facilitates access to affordable, sustainable and convenient financial and Business Development services to active and productive Ugandans. MSC Ltd supports legally established entities engaged in the value chain namely; production, value addition and marketing enterprises.

Job Summary: The Administrative Officers (AO-ZO) will be responsible for administrative and logistical support for the zonal office.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Organize, screen correspondences and reports and forward them to action officers, maintaining a tracking system for easy follow up.
Organize briefings materials and logistics for Zonal Officers use on official trip or meetings and maintain a schedule of activities in the zone.
Manage front office, receive, attend to and direct visitors.
Process correspondences of documents and reports, as required.
Handle office petty cash payments and provide timely accountability.
Purchase, store and issue office supplies and stationery for the facilitation of Zonal activities.
Maintenance of office equipment and general cleanliness of the office.

Key Performance Indicators:
Well organised and maintained Offices of the company.
Well coordinated meetings, appointments, and manage all official correspondences for the smooth operations of the Offices.
Ensure adequate customer values are adhered and the general professional image of the company.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
The candidate should hold a Degree (Honours) in office practice or Secretarial & Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, Social Administration, and Public Administration or any other related discipline.
Experience of 2 years in general office management /Administration is a must.
Proven Proficiency in the use of MS-Office, ability to use a computer and some experience in petty cash management.
Strong interpersonal skills and a certificate in customer care.
Age: Between 25 -40 years.
