Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 8 years' experience, 4 of which should be at management level in a reputable organisation especially public sector entities at start "PI
• Should have deep knowledge and experience with the PPDA law and regulations with evident achievements from PPDA Audits;
• Should have demonstrable experience in planning and implementing procurements in a large organisation in Uganda or the region;
• Working knowledge of the Transport Sector and/or local governments functions and laws is added advantage;
• Familiarity with modem infrastructure procurement and contracting options including BOT schemes, performance contracting, tolling, parallel bid evaluations framework, term contracting and others.

The applicant should possess at least five years experience as a planning and control engineer in the oil industry and have experience providing resolution to a diverse soap and range of complex problems at the well site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tools and services
Possess convectional knowledge of and experience with convection motor directional drilling tools and rotary steerable systems, particular auto track.
Ideally should have experience of radioactive source handling and be able to assist with their use.
Have an excellent track record of industry training from a recognized oil field industry establishment.
Computer literate with proficient knowledge of several universal software package
Ability to work in a team environment.
A minimum of a two year technical degree in petroleum preferred.
An off shore medical certificate and offshore survival certificate is an added advantage.
