Africa Broadcasting Limited owns and operates NTV the number one TV station in Uganda . We are a subsidiary of the Nation Media Group, which is East & Central Africa ‘s largest group.
Responsibilities
• Installing new/rebuilding existing services and configuring hardware, peripherals, services , settings , etc. in accordance with standards and projects/operational requirements
• Researching and recommending innovative, and where possible , automated approach for system administration tasks by identifying approaches that leverage our resources.
• Setting up networking infrastructure in new locations and ensure that those systems are fully functional
Competencies
• Basic university degree in Computer Science or information Technology
• Certification in CCNA,CCNP and knowledge of MAC OS and Final Cut Editing software, FTP server and multimedia is an added advantage
• Knowledge of a range of networking systems and languages including Novell, UNIX and VMS
