 Responsibilities:
Monitor the security and risk management with regard to child information and sponsorship systems. This includes backup of child information/data, production of data backup logs; and physical, logical and soft/hardware security. Effect sponsorship data quality assurance measures in relation with management of child information and sponsorship systems.
Entry of child sponsorship data/information and SO communications (queries, GN, mails, child monitoring information, etc) through manual entry, scanning forms, editing, verifying, validating and loading child information to STEP and SD systems.
Production of all system reports such as STEP1 management, Child Correspondence Forms, Detailed Correspondence report and export of Validation forms for the ADP.
Read and create all diskettes for the ADP and regular update of the Diskettes tracking template
Perform SD business processes such as printing out variance reports, Child Status Reports, Project reports, etc.
Resolve to-do list items and update the Child Sponsorship Facilitator on unresolved to-do list items for management actions.
Security of sponsorship data, systems resources and sponsor addresses.
Conduct STEP decentralized business processes at the ADP on annual reconciliations, setting of APR, Christmas Cards, integration, etc on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as applicable.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Child Development & Child Sponsorship Facilitator-CSDF.

Job Summary: The Education Specialists will work in tandem with a cluster of PEAS schools to drive school improvement through support for teachers and school leadership. The jobholders will be involved in teacher training, support for new policy/programme interventions; analyzing school progress and helping school leaders implement School Inspection recommendations and School Improvement plan targets.
The incumbents will also technically support the central PEAS-Uganda Education Department by designing and delivering regional teacher and school leader training and supporting the follow-up of training in schools and classrooms.

About OIOS:
The United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) is an independent office in the United Nations Secretariat whose mandate is to "assist the Secretary-General in fulfilling his internal oversight responsibilities in respect of the resources and staff of the Organization."Specifically, activities include internal audit, investigation, monitoring, evaluation, inspection, reporting and support services to the United Nations Secretariat. Its intended and mandated function is similar to many national government audit organisations, like the Government Accountability Office in the United States. It reports not only to the General Assembly, but also to the Secretary-General.

 Responsibilities:

Within limits of delegated authority and under the supervision of the Chief of Section, the Investigation Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
Supports in carrying out interviews and research of documentary evidence;
Performs basic research on assigned issues using investigation files and alternative sources to verify facts, identify citations, precedents and draft statements of findings and respondent replies to appeals;
Enlists the continued cooperation of witnesses;
Rigorously prepares and maintains the body of investigation reference files including management of individual case files;
