Job Summary: The Data Processing Assistant will be responsible for accurate and timely data encoding and all other related activities such as data reconciliation, receipt of information, data processing, and generating forms and reports at the Migration Health Assessment Center (MHAC) Kampala.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Generating Hold-Alert list from MiMOSA on a daily basis for the Chief Nurse
Keeping records of quality control for X-ray reading discrepancies
Running queries on MiMOSA to ensure accuracy in Data Processing
Receiving and importing XMIF data to MIMOSA
Receiving new medical forms from all agencies and applicants
Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics for submission to DaProFo.
Initializing and printing blank medical forms for applicants.
Generating and issuing lists for counseling, laboratory tests, physical examination, vaccinations, Mantoux test, CXR and other appointment lists as required.
Preparing and printing consent and vaccination forms on a daily basis
Assisting with taking photos and uploading them on MiMOSA and eMedcial systems.
Ensuring timely return of all completed medical forms to the respective Embassies, High Commissions and Agencies including organizing courier delivery for medical forms destined overseas.
Preparing data on medical conditions, vaccinations and disseminating to the pre-departure and medical staff

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - Mildmay Uganda

About Mildmay:
Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda. It is situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Uganda.

Job Summary: The Monitoring and Evaluation Officers will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust and functional Monitoring and Evaluation System for Mildmay Uganda Programme.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
All candidates should possess bachelor’s degrees either in Social Sciences, Development studies, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, Population studies or any other related field with post graduate qualification in M&E.
S/he must have at least three years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation preferably in the health sector.
S/he must have demonstrable skills in planning and implementing M&E systems and well as report writing.
Excellent computer literacy skills related to MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SPSS or STATA are essential.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial.
Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Exhibit flexibility, reliability and ability to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.

About MRC/UVRI:
The Medical Research Council/ Uganda Virus Research Institute (MRC/UVRI) Uganda Research Unit on AIDS is seeking experienced and suitably qualified Ugandans for the following posts on an Enhanced Prevention project for improving the effectiveness of HIV prevention and care and treatment services in Uganda for women and their regular partners at high risk of HIV and other STIs. This project is funded by funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Uganda under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and other donor agencies.

Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the administration of the clinic pharmacy in a professional manner to meet project and donor requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities;
Organise the pharmacy following good clinical practice.
Dispense prescribed medication to patients and provide appropriate drug information on dosages, necessary precaution and side effects of dispensed medication.
Develop and maintain a sound drug consumption record system
Develop and maintain a stock keeping system for all drugs and clinic materials in the pharmacy.
Hand out approved re-imbursement to the clients involved in research activities and ensures that timely accountability is made for the funds used.
Offers ART to all women, their male regular partners and children below 18 years who are eligible for ART.
Actively participate in making quarterly forecasts for drugs and other pharmacy materials in preparation for procurement.
Send timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reports for the clinic and as required by funders
Assist in any other duty as allocated by the supervisor(s).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience;
The candidate should hold at least a diploma in Pharmacy.
At least three years of clinical experience in an HIV clinic.
Two years of research experience
Additional ART/TB Training is required.
Certificate in Good Clinical Practice.
Registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council with a Valid annual practicing Licence.
Drug supply chain and Logistics management skills.
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
Possess good interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy skills and ability to use various computer packages.
