Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly financial statements.
Preparation of month-end and year-end closing entries.
Posting of activity to the general ledger, including monthly accruals.
Research and correct account discrepancies.
Account analysis and reconciliation, to include bank statements, inter-company general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts.
Preparation of monthly reconciliation’s between source records and control accounts.
Monitoring and maintenance of recording and reporting fixed assets and related depreciation.
Familiarization with Management and Loan Agreements.
Evaluation and maintenance of internal controls relating to hotel properties This is to include validation of: supporting documentation, accuracy of information received, completeness of transactions, maintenance of accounting records, and physical security of assets.
Participate in the annual budgeting process.
Work directly with the Hotel General Manager and Operations Management.
Ensure monthly payroll is done.
Take initiative to identify areas and provide suggestions for improvement.

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct post EIA Inspections and audits to ensure implementation of mitigation measures;
• Check corporate compliance with environmental legislation and checking the accuracy of environmental impact predications;
• Verify compliance with environment regulations such as emission limits effluent standards, waste management practices and EIA Regulations;
• Advise on criteria approaches , procedures and techniques in developing environmental standards;
• Initiate the development of environmental standards in priority areas of concern including coordination with lead agencies and Institutions in development of environmental standards;

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The applicant should hold a Masters degree in Physical Science with specific training in Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering;
• Experience of at least five (5) years;
• Knowledge of Environmental science and technology; Environmental auditing and inspection;
• Knowledge on guidelines and regulation of auditing;
• Good understanding of technical and environmental aspects of facility operations;
• Relevant requirements on environmental laws, regulations and related documents;
• Environmental management systems and standards;
• Know- How of Audit procedures, processes and techniques and Industrial processes.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of appropriate environmental auditing concepts, processes, systems and the role of environmental monitoring;
• Ability to identify environmental pollution sources and compile relevant and appropriate information when needed;
• Skills in forming partnerships and alliances with other individual and organizations to enhance performance on the job;
• Able to produce reports , document actions , keep records and inform appropriate parties;
• Capacity to facilitate resolution of conflict within regulated parties;
• Competency in clearly expressing concepts or ideas orally and in writing;

Job Description

Key Performance Areas:
• Collaborate with Program Coordinator in the development of workplans for the region
