Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop new reports;
• Fix existing reports when deficiencies are discovered;
• Support reporting platforms used by the company;
• Monitor quality of reports developed;
• Assess complexity and provide time estimation for reports development;
• Collect business requirement for new reports;
• Conduct gap analysis of new requirements against existing reports;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The Reporting Specialist should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in technical or Computer science, Master’s degree is a plus.
• Four years of experience in software development and/or reporting in financial services or banking area.
• Demonstrated experience working with Oracle databases and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience of work in software development companies is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in banking operations and accounting is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services is an advantage
Reasoning Ability:
• Be able to setup priorities and make decisions under stress conditions.
Computer Literacy Skills:
Microsoft Windows, Microsoft office products:
Word, Excel, Visio
Personal Competencies:
• Analytical, Technical Skills, Teamwork, Quality and Interpersonal Skills
Language: Fluency in English is required and Fluency in French is a plus.
