Essential Duties and Responsibilities are:
responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
assists the audit partner in establishing audit objectives and overall scope
ensures key matters which arise during the audit which were not identified at the planning stage are properly assessed and dealt with
Reviews the work of in-charge accountants.
checks that audit work papers have been properly reviewed and that audit files are completed in a timely manner and are properly filed and maintained on the network
determines that all audit reports reflect the work performed and meet set reporting and auditing standards
finalize draft report to management
follows through on any concerns regarding an audit assignment with the audit partner
Adheres to the firms risk management policies and procedures.
plans and co-ordinates all aspects of audit planning
Responsible for managing audit teams on specific assignments, with specific line management responsibility for a group of staff.
manages, motivates and coaches team members and provides feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options
Requirement:
have a professional qualification of CPA/ACCA.
having CISA would be an added advantage for selection.
have post qualification experience of at least 5 years in a similar position.
have good knowledge of accounting softwares used in Uganda.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are:
takes responsibility for wider client management and liaison on smaller less complex assignments
takes an active part in the 8udit planning discussions to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
communicates any issues relating to an audit with manager or partner
ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages
oversees all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.
prepares or reviews work papers and drafts of the financial statements
produces client deliverables, specifically drafting sections of the report to management
addresses, discusses and advances conclusion in respect of technical and audit issues identified during the course of the audit
adheres to the firms risk management policies and procedures.
delegates work to other members of the audit team, ensuring associates understand their responsibilities and have received appropriate on-the-job training/coaching
maintains an understanding of audit methodology
Requirement:
have a professional qualification of CPA/ACCA
have experience of at least 3 years in a similar position
have good knowledge accounting softwares used in Uganda.

accurate book keeping using accounting software including payroll and stock functions using multi-currency for our various clients
preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and analyse the same
identifying the system weaknesses in an accounting function of an entity and making appropriate suggestions to Improve the same and presenting to client’s management
attending management meeting and presenting report on the financial accounts
preparing compliance checklist and making VAT, PAYE, NSSF and Withholding Tax computation and filing online returns with URA
adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
Requirement:
have first class honours decree majoring in Accounts
have a good numerical and analytical skills
have an experience of using accounting softwares with good speed
be willing to work under pressure and meet the target
have at least 3 - 5 years' hands on experience in book keeping.

participate in and supervise multiple and challenging transfer pricing engagements
demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic 8nd financial knowledge to client situations
thoroughly and accurately analyze information, prepare quality, practical approaches to the client’s economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions to formalise
Transfer pricing documentation for clients
participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs) and defend transfer pricing in audits
delegates work to other members of the tax team, ensuring that they understand their responsibilities and have received appropriate on-the-job training/coaching
develop and deliver quality transfer pricing documents.
Requirement:
a bachelor's degree in economics/ law/ tax/accounting
a minimum of 3 years of transfer pricing or similar experience
broad exposure to transfer pricing issues will be preferred
excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
