Legal Manager

Uganda Ecumenical Church Loan Fund is a fast growing institution, an affiliate of the ECOLF international based in Geneva, Switerzerland and a member of the Association of Microfinance institutions of Uganda .U-ECLOF is seeking to recruit a skilled, mature and experienced person
The main purpose is to ensure that all activities of the institution comply with the laws of Uganda and the institution protected against civil and criminal actions.
Key responsibilities
Developing and maintaining legal procedures for ECLOF
Developing maintaining the annual plan and deigning the disaster recovery strategy for the legal function
Designing litigating strategies and procedures
Drafting reviewing contracts and designing legal instruments as maybe required by ECLOF
Acts as the company secretary

Qualifications
Degree in Law (LLB)
Post graduate Diploma in Law
Must have completed ICSA
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in litigation and finance industry
Demonstrable experience in micro finance MDI laws, employment laws and commercial laws
High level of integrity
