Program Officer –Post Harvest
Sasakawa Africa Association is seeking to recruit qualified suitable applicants to fill the above position .Duties
• Promote labor and time saving technologies that reduce losses and generate income
• Develop and implement training programs for farmers /agro-processors , machine fabricators and service providers on fabrication, use and management of improved technologies ;
• Provide guidance and feedback among thematic colleagues and to partners from other agencies , on technology selection and impact through demonstrations , meetings and written activity reports
Requirements
• B.Sc in post harvest Management , Agricultural Engineering , Food Science and Nutrition or in any other related field ;
• A minimum of at least 5 years of relevant experience in agricultural extension is an added advantage.
