ABOUT THIS JOB
Baker Hughes is looking for a Coordinator - Field Service (Completions) to be located in their Uganda offices. This position holds responsibility for liaising directly with the client and managing offshore personnel. The Coordinator will monitor the daily progress of jobs and maintain effective communications link between the base and the customer, whilst also maintaining strong customer relations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coordinating and supervising activities of service and technical personnel via personnel assignments, job management, administration and technical support
Manage operations employee performance, development, and technical training
Provides technical guidance and work direction to operations personnel and advise regarding equipment problems, equipment condition, equipment specifications and equipment limitations
Assist reliability engineering with equipment operating and maintenance issues
Maintain records of communications and dispatching activities
Generates monthly invoices and assists in the collection of past due accounts
Ensures that critical information is communicated to appropriate manager or other staff. Works independently under general supervision, requiring normal guidance and review
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Degree qualified with a level of field or offshore experience
Liner Hanger experience essential.
Must have a minimum of 8 – 10 years relevant experience.
Strong communication skills; ideally client-facing and internally also
Experience of inventory methods and stock control procedures
High level of self-motivation
Able to communicate with customers
