Job Title : District Community Development Officer
Kisoro District Service Commission recruiting qualified candidates for the vacant position above .
Specifications
• An Honors Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Rural Development studies or Social Work and Social Administration from a recognized University/Institution and post Graduate Diploma in a related field.
• Should have a working experience of not less than 9 years 3 of which should have been served at the level of Principal Community Development officer in government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.
Job Purpose
• To coordinate all community –based services in the District and community participation in development programs and projects .

Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PS Form No 3 (2008) to the Secretary , Kisoro District Service Commission P. O. Box 123, Kisoro . The application forms are obtainable from the Public Service Commission Offices , Farmers House 2nd Floor , Kampala and also from District Service Commission Offices . Handwritten applications are also acceptable.
Applications should bear the title of the post, reference number specified against each vacancy . Applicants should attach a set of 3 photocopies of their certificates plus three recent passport size photographs. Those already in service should route their applications through their heads of Department who should be informed of the closing date.
