Job Summary: The Technical Support Manager will be responsible for the collection, organisation, analysis and dissemination of management information for strategic decision making.





Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the collection, organisation , analysis and dissemination of key engineering services management information
Identifying and developing for Umeme use the most up to date Distribution management information profiles
Delivery of critical business reports as requested from time to time
Development and Maintenance of company asset register
Management of Umeme’s GIS
Setting and maintaining standards with respect to records and record control
Researching and reporting on new technological developments relevant to the electricity distribution business
Development of associated systems and processes to effectively carry out duties
Contribute to departmental strategy and plan development
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering 5 (five) years and particularly electricity asset management.
Proficiency in IT
Strong analytical skills
Excellent report writing skills in English
Good understanding of systems architecture principals
