About MSH:
Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is an international non-profit, public health organisation with headquarters in USA, whose purpose is to strengthen health programs worldwide. MSH Uganda is currently running a number of USAID and other donor funded projects, both in Kampala and other parts of the country including STRIDES for Family Health project and TRACKTB.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing strategic guidance, establishing and overseeing a functional logistics/store management system and supervising the operations and management of the stores.
She/ he will ensure that STRIDES donations such as long lasting insecticide treated nets (LLINs), hygiene kits and medical equipment are managed and systematically distributed across STRIDES collaborating districts.
In collaboration with the M&E unit, ensure that logistics data including distribution and client information is entered in a central data base, analyzed and reported on a monthly basis.



Ensure the maintenance of an updated STRIDES asset register and submit regular reports using MSH standard formats.
Prepare a project assets disposition plan and support its implementation.
Develop a distribution strategy which should include a description of how distribution of donated equipment/supplies and project assets will be handled from the stores to the intended beneficiaries.

Qualifications,
The applicant should hold a Degree in Procurement and Logistics, Business Studies/Administration, preferably with Stores Management option, CIPS is an added advantage,
Skills and Experience:
At least three years of experience in a similar position within a busy organization,
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs particularly Word & Excel,
Good understanding and sense of importance of attention to details.
