Job Title: Nutritionist Assistant

About AHA:
Africa Humanitarian Action is a non-governmental non- profit making organization that provides health services to refugees on behalf of UNHCR. Our mission is to respond to crises and disasters in Africa; to enhance communities at risk, so they can solve their concerns themselves.
Key Duties:
Participating in planning, budgeting, directing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating nutritional programmes of the organization.
Managing and accounting for the allocated resources.
Providing guidance on the purchasing of food and planning other activities.
Designing special diets for therapeutic purposes.
Advising/counseling people with nutritional problems.
Participating in community outreach services for adequate nutrition.
Imparting knowledge and skills to staff
Adhering to professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics.
At least a year’s experience will be an added advantage.
