DISTRICT PRODUCTION AND MARKETING OFFICER (1 Vacancy)

Reports to: Chief Administrative Officer Job Purpose
To coordinate, manage and monitor the production and marketing programmes, projects and activities in the District.
Requirement:
An Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Fisheries or Agriculture or Veterinary Science and a Postgraduate qualification in any of these fields. A Postgraduate qualification in Management or Public Administration or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution is an added advantage.
Experience:
Should have a minimum of 9 years working experience in Agriculture, Veterinary/marketing Sector, 3 of which should have been served at a principal level in Government or equivalent level of experience in a reputable organization.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts, which exist in Kabale District Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Form No. 3 (2008) Revised to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 5, KABALE to be received not later than Monday,18th March 2013. The application forms are obtainable free of charge from any Office of District Service Commission in Uganda or from Public Service Commission – Kampala. Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy and the telephone contact.
