Person Specification
Qualifications
A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in English Language
Studies/Administration from a recognized awarding institution
OR A pre-professional Accounting Qualification ( ATC or CAT) and accredited by the institute of Public Accountants of Uganda
Experience
At least 3 years of working experience as an accountant
How to apply:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts, which exist in Kabale District Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Form No. 3 (2008) Revised to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 5, KABALE to be received not later than Monday,18th March 2013. The application forms are obtainable free of charge from any Office of District Service Commission in Uganda or from Public Service Commission – Kampala. Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy and the telephone contact. Applicants should attach all the necessary supporting documents and recent pass port size photographs to each form. Qualifications from only recognized awarding institutions will be considered. Original documents should not be sent at this time. Applicants already in employment should route their applications through their employers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
