Job Title : Claims Manager
Deloitte Uganda Limited is seeking to recruit suitably qualified individuals for the positions of Finance Manager and Claims Manager on behalf of our client ,a General Insurance Company in Uganda and a multi-national Group .
Responsibilities
• Designing , implementing , monitoring and evaluation of claims processing and related systems of the company ;
• Ensuring that budgeting for the department is carried out within the given parameters and delivered in time ;Ensuring all reports are produced accurately and delivered within the agreed timelines;
• Ensuring proper claims reserving ;
• Ensuring proper management of internal controls , compliance, and regulatory requirements and
• Maintenance of sound business relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
• First University Degree , preferably Social Sciences , Law ,or any related field ;
• Be a Qualified insurer with the Association of Chartered Insurance Institute;
• Have a minimum of five years post qualification experience;
• Have thorough knowledge of non-life insurance business
• Have good interpersonal skills
