Field Officer Jobs needed in Uganda at Development initiatives international

DII is a Ugandan registered indigenous NGO whose mission is to improve the quality of life of the informal sector communities through intervention that mitigates the impact of diseases, promote sustainable development and empowers communities to champion their own development
With the support from the Norwegain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, DII is implementing strengthening HIV/AIDS Response in market Communities (SHAREM) project in Lira, Mable and Mbarara districts




Roles
- Collaborate with the partners, market management, community structures, and liaison officers to ensure smooth implementation of the project activities and timely feedback on project progress
- Spearheads, the process of delivery of intervention services through such activities as training, sensitization, mobilization, mapping for HCT outreaches plus referral and follow up of clients
- Writes quality and timely activity, monthly and half annual reports for activities implemented

Qualification
- Minimum of Degree in Social work and social Administration, Development studies, Social Sciences or any other related field
- Strong administration and management skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good computer skills, particularly MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to speak and read the local language in the location interest will be added advantage
- Experience in carrying out similar work will be an added advantage
Should be more than 30 years  please note that only short –listed candidates will be an added advantage
