Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Performing installation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of defective components on Trailers and drawbars
Performing preventative maintenance based on predetermined service schedules.
Checking and rectifying wheel alignment issues.
Maintaining curtains, rollers, guides and tie downs.
Attending to vehicle breakdowns
Maintaining shop tools and equipment in good, safe and clean working order, and reports deficiencies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
All candidates should possess diplomas in AUTOMOTIVE Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
Must currently be employed as Trailer Mechanic with minimum 5 years work experience on heavy duty trailers
Extensive knowledge and experience of modern commercial trailers including ABS/ EBS, electrical and general servicing
Possess excellent problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skills.
Basic knowledge of human resource management and supervision
