About Mengo:
Mengo Hospital is the oldest hospital in Uganda which was established by Sir Albert Cook in 1897. Today, the hospital is an urban community hospital with all the amenities of a modern hospital.

Job Summary: The Stores Officer will primarily be responsible for the management of all aspects of stores management including inventory management, warehousing, supply and distribution, documentation and administrative routines in Mengo Hospital.

Qualifications,
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree (Hons.) in Stores Management or Supplies & Logistics Management from a recognized Institution.
Possession of a relevant professional qualification, in part or lull, such as CIPS, CHS is desirable and a competitive and distinct advantage.



 Skills and Experience:
A minimum of two years' relevant working experience, with ability to work under minimum supervision.
Experience and exposure in an organized store or warehouse in a Health or
Pharmaceutical Institution/facility is a competitive advantage.
Excellent computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in computerized inventory management
Possess the ability to operate the system and generate analytical reports.
Must be an honest, mature and well balanced person with integrity.
