 DISTRICT INTERNAL AUDITOR (PRINCIPAL INTERNAL AUDITOR)
Ref: V/KDLG/14//2013 Salary Scale: U2 Reports to: District Council.
Job Purpose
To head the Internal Audit and provide technical support and guidance on financial performance and quality assurance Services in systems of internal control, risk management and governance processes in the District.
Requirement:
EITHER: Honors Bachelors degree in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized University or Institution plus full Professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized awarding Institution;
OR: Full Professional Qualifications in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized awarding Institution plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management or Auditing or Business Administration from a recognized Institution.
At least six (6) years working experience three (3) of which at the level of Senior Internal Auditor in a public or reputable organization.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts, which exist in Kabale District Local Government. Applications should be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Form No. 3 (2008) Revised to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 5, KABALE to be received not later than Monday,18th March 2013. The application forms are obtainable free of charge from any Office of District Service Commission in Uganda or from Public Service Commission – Kampala. Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy and the telephone contact. Applicants should attach all the necessary supporting documents and recent pass port size photographs to each form. Qualifications from only recognized awarding institutions will be considered. Original documents should not be sent at this time. Applicants already in employment should route their applications through their employers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.
