PHP will be hiring an Administrative Manager to oversee the organization’s finances and general administration. The selected candidate will initially be given a contract for the remainder of 2013, starting in approximately May/June 2013, with the possibility of renewal.

The Administrative Manager will have the following responsibilities:

Finance

(1) Manage all of the organization’s financial books and complete all accounting record entry
(2) Manage the organization’s budget development processes
(3) Generate necessary quarterly and annual financial statements
(4) Help oversee the organization’s procurement processes

General Administration

(1) Serve at the reception area and be responsible for the overall management of the office
(2) Manage the creation and storage of organizational records, such as correspondence, program implementation records, and personnel information
(3) Write letters and other documents on behalf of the organization
(4) Manage the submission of important documents to relevant authorities for compliance or other purposes

Minimum Education Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration, preferably specializing in accounting, procurement, or finance.

Skills: Applicants should communicate effectively with others and exhibit strong organizational qualities. They should be highly proficient in accounting standards and procedures. Applicants should exhibit extremely strong computer skills. Applicants with prior knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software will have an added advantage.
