HIV & AIDS Quality Improvement Specialist - World Vision in Kampala
World Vision Uganda is a Christian Relief , development and advocacy Non-governmental Organization dedicated to working with children.
Key Result Areas
• Facilitate the adaption and implementation of national Health and HIV& AIDS prevention ,care and treatment interventions and monitor their implementation in compliance with MOH/WHO/PEPFAR policy guidelines and standards
• Coordinate capacity building interventions planned for Police and Prisons including training of their health workers in the provision of comprehensive HIV AIDS prevention, care and treatment .
• Development of strategies for improved implementation of HIV prevention , care and treatment services within the supported target sectors of police and prisons.
Skills
• Must have a Master’s Degree in Medicine or Public Health or its equivalent .
• Must have at least 3 years field experience running large scale public health interventions supported by PEPFAR in Uganda .
• Proven training skills , and past experience in a managerial or coordinator role with responsibilities for strategic planning , advocacy and higher level networking .
