Job Description
AeroLink Uganda Limited based at Entebbe International Airport, is a new airline offering schedule and charter services into Uganda’s National Parks. A subsidiary of Airkenya Express Limited, a leading airline in Kenya, AeroLink will offer a similar operation in Uganda. AeroLink will also operate turbo prop aircraft.
At AeroLink the customer always comes first! We require seasoned customer service professionals to personify this.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Booking, ticketing and receiving payment on AeroLink’s CRS
• Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about services
• Telesales and managing of e-ticket bookings
• Creating and updating databases, and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Handling and resolving customer complaints
• Maintaining Market intelligence
• Preparing manifests
• Preparing the Air Traffic Control flight plan
• Crew briefing on departures and arrivals of flights
• Manage the smooth operations of daily flights within AeroLink targets
• Ensure all statistics are correctly computed
• Monitoring radios and maintaining flight information loggings
• Collection of necessary paperwork after flight for filing and compiling data to produce reports for the company and CAA as required.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related field
• IATA course in Customer service and/or Reservations and/or Flight Operations
• Proficiency in basic MS packages; Experience with reservations programs (i.e. Galileo) an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Must possess a passion for people and a desire to help people in a professional capacity
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Flight Dispatchers’ training an added advantage
• Additional language (i.e. French, Spanish, Italian, etc) an added advantage
