Job title: Programme Support Manager - IDF
The Independent Development Fund is a Ugandan non- political, non- governmental, not for profit grant mechanism, providing support to civil society organizations to promote human rights, access to justice and social accountability in Uganda. We seek to recruit a qualified individual to fill the position of Programme Support Manager.

To provide leadership in grant management, in line with the Fund’s policies, procedures and regulations.
Lead the process of review, technical and financial assessment of the grant applications
Make recommendations on the eligibility of applications for grants as per the IDF grant management policy and procedures and donor guidelines
Identify organizational capacity gaps of the grantees and coordinate appropriate capacity development interventions
Prepare agreements and memorandum of understanding for grantees for final approval and sign off.
Receive grantee funds requests and authorize processing of grant transfers.
Develop and implement appropriate training and capacity building initiatives for the grantees
Ensure that the funds /grants policies, procedures and regulations, are followed and kept under review
Develop good working relationships with the stakeholders.
Follow up continuous improvement in grant administration and other programme areas
