Deloitte (Uganda) Limited is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The job holder will play key roles in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of financial and related systems of the company;
Ensuring that the budgeting process is carried out within the given parameters and delivered in time;
He /She will be responsible for all financial reports are produced accurately and delivered within the agreed timelines;
Ensuring efficient and effective financial management;
Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the debt collection system is in place, and ensuring that a credit policy is in place and is being adhered to;
Ensuring proper risk management, internal controls, and compliance;
General administration including Human Resources management;
Maintenance of sound business relationships with key stakeholders;
Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT operations in the company; and
Active membership in the company's disaster recovery plan and business continuity program.
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The job holder should possess a University Degree, preferably in Accounting;
The Finance Manager should be a qualified accountant with ACCA, or CIMA, or CPA, or its equivalent;
At least five (5) years post qualification experience;
Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
Good written and oral communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Leadership ability; Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills; Good team building skills; and should be a very active member of the Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA (U)).
