NCSC is a unique non-governmental organization providing technical assistance, training and technology to advance justice systems in the 50 U.S. states and around the world. Founded more than 40 years ago by the leaders of the U.S. courts to deliver on the promiseof Equal Justice under Law, NCSC partners with donor agencies, host-country governments, and non-governmental organizations to create more effective justice institutions andpromote the Rule of Law. The National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is seeking qualified Ugandan citizens to fill the below positions for the “Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity & Peace” (SAFE Program) funded by USAID. USAID-SAFE is a five-year development Program that seeks to strengthen the Government of Uganda's capacity with respect to peace building and conflict mitigation. Position Summary:

Roles
Manage programmatic and performance evaluation and reporting in compliance with USAID requirements.
Assist the SAFE Grants Team in managing performance evaluation and reporting of Program grantees in compliance with SAFE requirements.
Conduct and monitor training in areas relevant to reporting, monitoring, and evaluation for Program counterparts and grantees.
Assist with the drafting and submission of quarterly and annual programmatic and performance evaluation reports, fact sheets, success stories, web content, and other program reporting in compliance with branding requirements.

Qualifications,
The applicant should hold a University degree in political science, sociology, social sciences, or related field.
Five or more years as Reporting Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, or similar position working on access to justice, legal aid, or conflict mitigation in Uganda.

Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with measurement and statistics for social sciences, and administration and analysis of public opinion survey data
Demonstrated ability to write reports and informational materials under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in program implementation.
Computer literacy skills i.e. (MS Word, Excel, Bangla composing skills, web programming, etc.).
Excellent spoken and written English.
Additional fluency in another local language is preferred.
