About UBTEB:
Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) is one of the national Examinations Boards in Uganda. This is a professional Examinations Board with the mandate to streamline, regulate, coordinate and conduct credible examinations and award Certificates and Diplomas in the Business, Technical and Vocational professions. The Board therefore conducts Business, Technical and Vocational examinations, including Applied Science specialties such as Biological Sciences (Agricultural, Fisheries, Wildlife, Forestry, Bee Keeping and other related fields), Physical Sciences (Meteorology, Surveys and Land Management, and other related fields), Cooperatives, Social Development, Hotel, Catering and Tourism. UBTEB is committed to conduct quality applied knowledge and skills examinations with an ultimate goal of enabling the students to access further upward academic progressions and employment in the world of work.




 Responsibilities:
The job holder will be responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day activities of the Office of the Executive Secretary and ensure efficient and effective reporting of the overall Board activities implementation progress.
He/ She will also offer technical support in monitoring of examinations, Human Resource and Administration activities; including provision of regular debriefing updates to the Executive Secretary and management as need be.
Offer support to the Executive Secretary in areas of policy drafting in liaison with high level stakeholders, research and office organisation.
Make administrative decisions and establish work priorities for the Executive Secretary.
Coordinate and maintain the schedules for the Executive Secretary including all meetings within and outside the country.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications,
The candidate should hold  a Masters’ degree in Administration, Management or Public Relations with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Secretarial Studies or preferably both

 Skills & Experience:
Additional qualifications of a diploma or advanced certificate in Secretarial studies, guidance and counselling or public relations (PR) will be an added advantage.
A minimum of eight years experience in a relevant job role.
Age Limit: 30-45 Years
