Job Title: Wireless Field Engineer

Job Summary: The Wireless Field Engineer provides customers with a variety of maintenance services, including but not limited to loading software and data tables as prepared by engineering on already installed equipment. Performs testing as per procedures defined by engineering and verifies that the system is complete back to original working conditions
Key Duties
Responsible for LTE RAN/IP and Evolved Packet Core Network.
Data Configuration.
Data Provisioning·
Product Validation Completion (Full Acceptance): The service is performed on-site.
The service includes resolving issues related to the backhaul network (e.g., network between Systems and other equipment).
Follow a mutually agreed Method of Procedure (MOP), Acceptance Plan from Rollout. Review and sign off on MOP acceptance.
Ensure no critical identified issues remain outstanding.
Ensure no major identified issue is outstanding without a temporary satisfactory workaround in place and a committed plan for definitive resolution. Existing Minor identified issues shall not prevent Service Acceptance to be signed off by MS."
Installation and configuration of additional equipment required to complete Integration.
Update factory software as required.
Configuration of existing equipment.
Secure 3rd party support.
Participate in site readiness calls with Alcatel-Lucent Program Managers and Delivery personnel to discuss activities, roles, and responsibilities.
Identify all necessary tools and document procedures for tools use as specified in the documentation.
Obtain the necessary tools to complete the service activities.
Provide physical and remote access with the appropriate security permissions to Element(s) so the Voice Testing, Mobile to Mobile Call, Mobile to Landline Call, Landline to Mobile Call, Data Testing, Large File Upload, Large File Download, Internet Access can be confirmed OK.
Verify the element is alarm free working in the normal conditions.
Qualifications,
The applicant should possess a Bachelor's degree in University Degree in Telecommunications/Electrical (light current)/ High diploma telecom technician
Good Telecommunications & Radio education
Skills and Experience:
At least 1 to 2 years’ experience.
7750 SR Core 1, 5620 SAM, Unix user Communication , CCNA, ASIN, Linux/ Unix Certification
IP knowledge on networks covering network applications, OSS/BSS layers applications include IMS, IPTV, VPN's for fixed , mobile and converged market.
