About InterAid:
InterAid Uganda is a national humanitarian NGO engaging in humanitarian and development work in both the urban and rural communities in Uganda. In partnership with UNHCR and OPM, InterAid is in the process of establishing a multi- sectoral programme in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement.
Job Summary: The Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, management oversight and strategic direction of the InterAid Field Programme in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. The Programme Manager will also be responsible for supervision of all field staff in the program me, reporting and managing relationships with donors, and partner agencies at field level.
Qualifications,
The Programme Manager should hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Post Graduate in Project Planning and Management
Skills and Experience
Three or more years’ professional experience in programme management.
Fluency in English and Kiryandongo local language proficiency is an added advantage. In addition, the ideal candidate should have relevant work experience with refugees in relation to Protection and Community Services, WASH, Environment and livelihoods in a settlement setting,
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain high — level professional working relationships
Exceptional written / oral communication skills.
Possess the ability to ride is an added advantage.
