About InterAid:
InterAid Uganda is a national humanitarian NGO engaging in humanitarian and development work in both the urban and rural communities in Uganda. In partnership with UNHCR and OPM, InterAid is in the process of establishing a multi- sectoral programme in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement.
Job Summary: The InterAid Uganda SGBV Counselor will implementing programme activities for the prevention and response of SGBV in the refugee communities in the settlement, and promote protection integration activities in coordination with other stakeholders.
Qualifications,
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences or any related field
Skills and Experience:
Three or more years’ community work, and related SGBV counseling experience.
Extensive knowledge of the Southern Sudanese languages (Arabic, Nuer, Acholi & others) is an added advantage.
