Job Title: Power Solution Specialist

The Role
Manage power efficiency programs and implement power strategies . Ensure that overall network availability increases with general refurbishment projects within the allocated budgets .
Provide recommendations and solutions to power problems and assist with implementation and execution thereof.
Provide detailed AC/DC Power Solutions designs
Experience
Bachelors Degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering (or similar)
8+ years experience in Telecommunications site operations

Public Health Specialist - U.S Mission in Kampala

Job Title: Public Health Specialist

The U. S. Mission Uganda is inviting qualified candidates with rightful documents for the vacant position above .
Qualifications
Education required : Completion of a masters degree in public health , epidemiology, or health policy , or education , or public administration is required .
Work Experience required : Four years of progressively responsible experience in a public health or development related public or non-governmental organization is required.
Language required: Level IV English ability (fluent written , spoken and reading).
Selection Criteria
Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest , budget and visa status in determining successful candidacy .
Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply .

Job Title: FSL Assistant Program Manager

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in agriculture , development studies or social science-related (degree);
Minimum three years FSL work experience ; preferably with ACF having a good track record .
Team management skills and analytical capacity ;
Excellent knowledge of local area (agricultural practices , seasons , seed virieties , cultural habits, geographic area of assignment –including road and village locations )
Responsibilities
Conduct FSL situational analysis and recommendation for Kaabong district

Job Title: Agroforestry Officers - Moroto

Responsibilities
Identify crop production issues and discuss with program team and district forestry , Agriculture and commercial department .
Plan and develop coordinated practices for crop production, soil erosion control , soil and water conservation and sound land use in Karamoja Sub region .
Design and implement appropriate crop production and agroforestry schemes in the project areas
Ensure all technical specification of the crop production and agroforestry project are met .
Qualifications
University degree preferably in Agriculture, Forestry , natural resources management or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of work –related skill, knowledge , or experience is needed .
Analytical report writing ;
Possession of a valid Driving /riding permit
Good knowledge of Word and Excel ;
Ability to establish priorities , respect deadlines, and work both collaboratively and independently ;
