Job Title: Project Coordinator

The Ministry of Education and Sports is recruiting qualified suitable candidates for the vacant position above;
Specifications
• A relevant university degree in any of the following areas; Engineering , Architecture , Economics , Business Administration , Development Studies , Education Administration , Project Planning and Management or related discipline relevant to the HEST Project .
• A post graduate qualification in any of the above mentioned fields with emphasis in Project Planning and Management is also a requirement.
• Professional Certification in International Development Project Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
• The applicant should be a Ugandan national with a minimum of 10 years working experience of which five years should be at a senior management level in a relevant public institution, private sector institution or in an international organization.
• Demonstrate ability to ensure AIDS & GoU procurement regulations and practices are considered in providing advice on project decisions
• Conversant with donor and GoU financial accounting procedures and systems
• Creative and pragmatic approach to problem -solving and an appreciation of the mandate of the Public Universities in Uganda
• Sound knowledge of the Higher Education sub-sector in Uganda
