Job description Duties and responsibilities
• He/she will be a super achiever , with a basic knowledge of the advertising and media industry.
• He/she will have attention to detail, and also a successful track record in Sales and Marketing .
• He/she will have the ability to continually achieve monthly sales targets.
• The successful candidate will need to exhibit outstanding team relationship and people skills both internally as well as externally
• He/she will be responsible for ; driving sales for both Capital FM and Beat FM ; developing and mentoring an energetic and dynamic sales team ; organizing relevant sales activity reports ;maintaining developing and growing direct management and agency business ; driving the collection process for credit sales ; conducting regular training sessions with sales staff and where necessary organizing relevant external courses; back checking the activities of all sales personnel ; assigning duties , monitoring progress and development of the Deputy Sales Manager , Agency Sales Manager ; and any other duties as assigned by management .
• A first degree is desirable in Social Sciences or Bachelor of Commerce , Marketing option.
• Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage .
• Diploma holders who have specialized qualifications from recognized institutions in Marketing /Advertising , Sales or Public Relations may also apply .
