Job Title: Project Technical Manager
Malaria Consortium is an international organization working
primarily in Africa and Asia on communicate diseases control.
Person Specifications
• A post
graduate degree in public health or other health related medical discipline
• At least
3 to 5 years experience of working at national level in Uganda or similar
developing country setting, of which at least 2 to 3 years is direct work
experience in a project management capacity
• A good
experience in qualitative studies especially operational and implementation
studies
• Knowledge
of project management techniques and tools
Desirable
• A
qualification in project management or equivalent
• Proven
experience in risk management
• Proficient
in project management software such as MS Project
• Experience
working in the private health care sector or other profit oriented business
• Familiar
with current malaria case management practices –severe malaria in particular
