About ZPEB:
Zhongyuan petroleum Exploration (ZPEB) is an active petroleum engineering service company operating worldwide. To facilitate its business in Uganda, its local affiliate ZPEB Uganda Co Ltd is now seeking to recruit competent personnel in the following positions on contract Terms of Service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage in developing detailed networks, schedules (Open Plan) & estimates for the upgrade, installable and commissioning of systems.
Develop procedures to control budget and schedules for all major projects using Artemis 700/mt-Plan and PM3.
Implement detailed budgets and schedules to maintain cost impacts.
Prepare revised Level 3 network & Master Control Schedules for projects
Designate manpower for particular projects.
Analyzing construction/physical area to determine expenditures and costs.
Draft plans and layouts to determine logistics resources using planner software.
Providing cost effective design and solution for the compare
Develop strict safety guidelines are making sure they are adhered to
Should have the ability to be involved in building small-scale models the actual processing facilities.
Reviewing and approving drawings and assembly layouts.
Advising on which plant and machinery will be the most efficient.
Supervising production lines.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should possess at least five years experience as a planning and control engineer in the oil industry and have experience providing resolution to a diverse soap and range of complex problems at the well site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tools and services
Possess convectional knowledge of and experience with convection motor directional drilling tools and rotary steerable systems, particular auto track.
Ideally should have experience of radioactive source handling and be able to assist with their use.
Have an excellent track record of industry training from a recognized oil field industry establishment.
Computer literate with proficient knowledge of several universal software package
Ability to work in a team environment.
A minimum of a two year technical degree in petroleum preferred.
An off shore medical certificate and offshore survival certificate is an added advantage.
