About FOC-REV:
Friends of Christ Revival (FOC-REV) Ministries Uganda is a non-governmental, nonprofit making, non -political, inter-denominational charitable organization that was established in 1999 by a group of volunteers as a response to a crisis caused by HIV &AIDS and poverty in rural communities in Uganda. Our development programs focuses mainly on social mobilization and policy advocacy work addressing issues of gender inequality and women's rights, food security and livelihood, orphan care and support, HIV & AIDS and its impact on education and other social, economic and cultural inequalities and injustices. Our approach emphasizes community based care for supporting marginalized groups
Qualifications,
The Driver should hold at least a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE)
Possess at least 2 classes of B.CM and CH. Possession of DL is a plus
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of six years’ proven clean driving record preferably with an International NGO (INGO), CSO or relevant institution.
Possess a clear understanding of the mandate and how NGO's work.
Prior experience of working in hard to reach, isolated and vulnerable communities will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of computer basics (Word and MS Excel) is a plus
Proven knowledge in defensive driving and knowledge in simple mechanics is a must
Possession of an additional Certificate in Procurement and Logistics, Business administration will be an added advantage
Possess the ability to plan and forecast with high level of accuracy.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
