Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient operation of the packing line. This will involve ensuring quality of weighing, stitching and hygiene.
Key Duties and Responsibilities;
Packing and machine operation in order to meet quality and quantity targets.
Continuous improvement of packing operations so as to enhance efficiency and reduce costs on all packing costs.
To document and periodically report all packing operations to the immediate supervisor.
To ensure that the packing area is kept clean and orderly at all times.
Autonomous maintenance of the packing machines.
And other duties that will be delegated from time to time.
Relevant Experience and Qualification;
Minimum two years experience in a busy Food/feed milling industry in a supervisory level of a packing line.
Minimum certificate in Mechanical or electrical Engineering or any other related field in a recognized institution.
Other Requirements;
Good spoken and written English
Manufacturing PLC operations.
Proficiency in computer, and PLC operations experience.
People management skills and attention to details.
