Hudani Manji Holdings Ltd is establishing a modern and highly technological poultry facility in Semuto (Bulemezi), with the aim of providing quality conscious poultry operation and products of unmatched quality at reasonable prices for both the local and external market. Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to ensure overall maintenance of the farm sheds, and to supervise the activities of the shed attendants. The supervisor’s role will be required from the hatchery, growing, harvesting and clean up of the poultry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities;
To prepare work plans, activity schedules, and attendants’ duty and off-duty rooster;
To undertake all the broiler management operations under the guidance of the broiler farm manager;
To Supervise the activities of the shed attendants
To provide a hands-on training to shed attendants and other farm staff at large;
To maintain all farm records;
To monitor the health of the Flock ;
To maintain discipline at farm level;
To oversee chemical storage and usage.
The position may also require working for long hours
Relevant Experience and Qualification;
A diploma/certificate in animal husbandry or animal health;
Knowledge of poultry management;
Experience in poultry management, and knowledge in accounting and human resource will be an added advantage;
Other requirements
Ability to read, write and speak English, and basic Luganda
Proficiency in computer especially MS office packages;
