SINFA Uganda is a part of an international development project Internet Now. Spearheaded by Oxfam that has direct focus on services Impact sourcing , Agricultural platform and Internet Access that provides information , employment and income to community members through internet .
Job Description
• Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer , chief operations officer is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs .
• The COO will lead section managers , and more than 3 business models delivered across 100 sites with a staff of about 400.
• S/he will be responsible for all activities pertaining to licensure, service delivery , business development , and contracts management .
Qualifications
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience with at least four years .of senior leadership.
• Education qualification of at least an undergraduate business degree
• A post graduate qualification in project management is desirable
• A strong graduate relationship builder and communicator with experience
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to regional operating units and programs.
• A strong strategic thinker and hands on experience in operations for startups
