 Job Title: Competent Person for Lifting Operations

Total Uganda is seeking to recruit suitable applicants to fill the above post .
Responsibilities
• Promote safe handling & lifting operations according to international standards .
• Review engineering calculation for complex & complicated lifts and all types of lifting operations .
• Approve complicated and complex lift plan and attend the lifts .
• Perform condition check and fitness for lifting appliances , cargo carrying units and evaluate their utilization on site .
Qualifications
• Certification in lifting operations
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a lifting specialist in the oil & gas industry
• Solid HSE background and in-depth knowledge of international safety rules and regulations
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
