Program Officer REACH National Facilitator - World Food Program in Kampala

Job Title: Program Officer / REACH National Facilitator

The World Food Programme is the United Nations frontline agency against world hunger . It is the largest and longest serving humanitarian agency in Uganda .
Responsibilities
• Support to completion of situation analysis and data collection that adapts REACH tools to the national context, and ensure national counterparts are able to maintain and utilize the tools on ongoing basis .
• Identify key stakeholders to build consensus on priority interventions , synergies and delivery mechanisms across sectors .
• Support identification of gaps in national policies , strategies , and action plans to scale up nutrition interventions ;
Qualifications
• Advanced degree in one of the following disciplines ; human medicine , agricultural economics, public health , nutrition , dietetics; rural development or public policy , administration and management or equivalent related fields .
• Ability to travel periodically for trainings, workshops and field missions ;
• Knowledge of the UN System is an asset but not mandatory .
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
