Education
• A Good Business University degree
• Master’s degree in economics, economics, accounting or business administration and/or Microfinance will be added advantage
Experience
• At least 10 years post qualification experience with 5 years in a management position in a regulated financial institution.
• A sound knowledge of banking operations, human resource management, ICT, corporate communication and general administration.
• A working experience in Risk or Compliance department.
• Working knowledge of Lending to small businesses, Agricultural based businesses or individual lending
Abilities
• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude
• Extensive experience on the operational business of VFU
• Good knowledge in economic and financial topics
• A good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach
Main Tasks
• Plans, organizes and controls all the day-to-day activities of the institution, collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer in the overall administration of VFU
• Ensures that the targets set by the branches, agreed with the management, and approved by the BOD are reached;
