Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the strengthening the capacity of implementing partners, more specifically empowering of women and youth for improved and sustained economic livelihood in Northern Uganda.
• Also be the lead in the Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of AS4Y Programme in collaboration with partners to achieve program objectives
• Manage relationships and represent CARE with partners and other stakeholders in pursuit of the program objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The Component Specialist should have a Masters degree in Development studies, Industrial/Community Psychology, Education with a bias to in Vocational Studies or its equivalent
• Five or more years program management experience in vocational and technical education programming or related field.
• Additional qualification in Entrepreneurship is an added advantage
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning capacities.
• Strong skills and experience in M&E
• Advocacy and report writing skills
• Participatory planning techniques and Human Resource Management
• Computer literacy skills (email, word processing, spreadsheets).
• Ability to drive especially a 4X4 Vehicle on and off road is an added advantage.
• Skills in team work, facilitation and training.
