Job Summary: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Receptionist will primarily serve as a liaison between the staff and external counterparts by properly handling incoming and outgoing calls and receiving, screening, and guiding visitors. The incumbent will be providing services to all UN agencies co-located in the shared premises and will be required to be equally responsive to their needs.

Key Duties:
Quickly respond to all incoming calls and transfer them to the relevant staff members and make outgoing calls upon request by staff members;
Receive and transmit verbal and written messages to relevant staff members;
Receive, screen, and assist visitors by giving them direction and/of information;
Render support with registry tasks and keep close collaboration with the Assistant in charge of the Registry;
Assist with scheduling of appointments.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.



Qualifications,
The best candidate should have attained prior training as a Receptionist and/or Secretary or Customer care or Personal Assistant.

Skills and Experience:
At least three years of relevant experience;
Past work experience with any international organization or Diplomatic Mission is an asset.
Fluency in both spoken and written English;
Knowledge of the Local Language is an asset.
